Eirini I
Eirini is a first year PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, studying Mathematical Modelling, Analysis and Computation. She has previously completed her MSc at the University of Edinburgh (MSc Computational Applied Mathematics) and her undergraduate degree at University of Cambridge (BA Hons Mathematical Tripos).
Eirini’s passion for mathematics has been evident throughout her life as she has completed Mathematics A levels, participated successfully in many national and international mathematical competitions at a young age and continued pursuing mathematics through her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. She would love to inspire bright young minds to follow a mathematical career and to achieve their full potential. Through her lessons and her enthusiasm for the course she aims to make maths a fun and exciting subject for all students.
- Completed Mathematics at A-level and achieved A* in Mathematics and Further Mathematics.
- Achieved Grade 1 in STEP 1, STEP 3 exams.
- Participated in many national and international Mathematics competitions such as EGMO, IMO, MYMC, etc. and consecutively won gold, silver and bronze medals.
- Graduated as the Valedictorian, achieved the highest results in many consecutive years and achieved the highest score in Mathematics.
- Honorary Scholarship of the National Scholarship Foundation of Cyprus for the Academic years 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 in the program of Excellency.
She would love to inspire bright young minds to follow a mathematical career and to achieve their full potential. Through her lessons and her enthusiasm for the course she aims to make maths a fun and exciting subject for all students.
Eirini primarily teaches Olympiad Maths and STEP.
