We ran two Maths courses in August 2019:
- Junior Level 1 for students from 10-11 years old. This course was held at Nonsuch High School for Girls, Sutton from Monday 12/08/19 to Wednesday 14/08/19.
- Intermediate Level 1 for students from 12-14 years old. This course was held at Newstead Wood School, Orpington from Monday 05/08/19 to Friday 09/08/19.
Course structure
Each course covered all the four areas of Olympiad Maths with theory and practice sessions, which mirrored the experience of an Olympiad training camp. A typical day’s timetable looked like this:
- 9:00 – 10:30 Session 1: Combinatorics
- 10:30 – 11:45 Session 2: Number Theory
- 11:45 – 12:00 Break
- 12:00 – 13:15 Session 3: Solving equations
- 13:15 – 14:00 Lunch
- 14:00 – 15:00 Session 4: Geometry or team competition
