Alex is a student currently reading for a degree in Mathematics at Queen’s University Belfast. He has a real passion for helping people to see Maths in a more fun and approachable way, as well as research which has real-world applications. He wants his students to feel enthused about what they are learning and is keen to inspire them by focusing on the motivation for doing what we do in Maths.

His enthusiasm is echoed in his grades of A*A*A*A in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry respectively at A-Level, the study of which afford him a breadth of knowledge and diverse thinking styles. He shares his skills in exam preparation with his students, ensuring that the process suits each individual and is satisfying to complete.

Outside of his academic endeavours, Alex enjoys acting in comedies, telling terrible jokes and playing squash.

Alex offers tutoring for the following subjects: Maths and Further Maths (up to KS5), Biology and Chemistry (up to KS4), English (up to KS3) and Physics (GCSE).
