Emily is currently a second-year undergraduate student at Durham University studying English Literature and History. She achieved grade 9s in English Literature and Language at GCSE and As at A-Level in English Literature and History. Her passions for her subjects are ancient civilisations, Victorian literature, and the literature and history of underrepresented groups. During her studies, she obtained numerous achievements as follows: 

• Achieved 10 GCSE qualifications, with grades ranging between 7-9. 

• Achieved grade A in A-level English Literature and History. 

• Completed GCSE in June 2020 from Weatherhead High School. 

• Completed A-level in June 2022 from Weatherhead High School Sixth Form. 

Emily has a lot of face-to-face experience with children of all ages and abilities. She aims to inspire a love of English in her students and believes that genuine interest is what encourages hard work and thus, improvement. Emily wants her lessons to be accessible and interesting whilst providing a challenge.

• English and Verbal Reasoning for 11 Plus, 13 Plus Grammar & Private.
• GCSE English Language, English Literature and History.
