Joana is a student in Pharmacology at Queen Mary University of London. This course allows her to gain a wide range of knowledge surrounding biomedical sciences and pharmacology. In her A-Level, Joana achieved A*A*A*A in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and French respectively, as well as achieving an A in AS Physics.

Joana has lots of experience competing in mathematics competitions. She won a gold certificate at the UKMT senior mathematical challenge, and a merit in the Senior Kangaroo. She has also participated in multiple Olympiads in her home country since she was in year 3 and she has won multiple gold and silver certificates and medals.

Joana has been tutoring at SMSO for a year, and tutors 11+ Mathematics and Non-Verbal Reasoning. She also tutors for the Maths Olympiad.
