Elise

Elise read Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. She studied a diverse range of subjects across the Biological and Physical Sciences, including Chemistry, Cellular Biology and Physiology, specialising in Neurobiology. The breadth of her course allows Elise to apply a strong scientific and mathematical foundation when teaching to help students integrate concepts from different topics.

Elise has an excellent academic record, achieving 12 A* and 1 A in Additional Mathematics (the top grade) at GCSE. One of the standout results was being placed in the top 12 national marks in GCSE Astronomy, a course which she self-taught and sat a year early. She went on to achieve 3 A* in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and A in Further Mathematics at A Level.

Elise draws on personal experience with admissions tests and applications to develop students’ revision and exam technique, having received full scholarship offers from all the academically selective schools to which she applied at the 11+ stage.

Outside of her studies, Elise enjoys coaching and training gymnastics. She has most recently been awarded a Full Blue and been elected as Women’s Captain for the Cambridge University Olympic Gymnastics Club.
